to start, we have the basic rules as any other comm these days: no blurring, bullying, or ooc harassment; be friendly and respectful to your fellow writers (and to the mods, please!) if you ever need anything, please feel free to reach out to us. we're here to help! any communication between the mod team and members is confidential.

we're an 18+ community, which means we welcome adult themes, including nsfw content and storylines. we ask that you be respectful of others, always use content warnings and cut tags for sensitive content (visible on mobile: no "hover for cw," please!), and err on the side of caution: ask writers ooc before involving them in adult themed storylines. we reserve the right to remove anyone we feel is handling mature themes insensitively or making other writers feel unsafe or unwelcome.


 applying
to apply, you'll need an ooc or ic username, a friends only post, and a screened ooc post that contains a bio for your character. we're accepting bios in leiu of examples, so we want to see a bio of 150 words or more. this can include personality, likes/dislikes, facts, or any other information about your character: it doesn't just have to be their history!

once you're set up, comment the application post and make sure to request membership. if your app is deleted, that means your app was rejected, and we aren't obligated to field questions about why.


 activity
introductions upon being added, you'll need to post an introduction in scroll within 72 hours and respond to at least 75% of the comments.

updates members will have the full month to update their journal at least twice, with at least one of the updates being interactive (instagram, playlist, lyrics, etc). all posts with comments enabled should have at least 75% of the comments replied to in order to count toward your activity. please make sure to turn in all updates to the activity dropbox.

removals community wide removals will be done twice a month. one in the middle of the month in the form of an activity check on the friends page and the other at the end of the month. if members request to be removed before or after those period, they'll be removed with the next add cycle.

extensions & hiatus these will be granted upon request, though we will not grant extensions if you requested one the month prior.
